I’m Keith and I work for an engineering company that makes parts for lawnmowers. A couple of years ago I was falsely accused of stealing from the shop floor and sacked without a disciplinary hearing. Luckily my colleagues and I were all members of The Workers’ Union. They liaised with my employer and helped me to receive a fair hearing. I am pleased to say that I was reinstated to my position and have since been promoted to supervisor.

The Workers Union are excellent. Affordable membership and extremely prompt at providing support. I was a bit weary at first as there is no number to call, it’s all online, but they are very quick in providing assistance when I’ve needed it with prompt call backs. The support was professional, courteous and the representative engaged with my concern. Highly recommended.

It took me a little while to get my head around the way the workers union works. Ive always been with traditional style unions. Once I got used to it I realised that they are more efficient, better at replying quickly and much better at getting you through to the right legal advisor quickly. Superb service alround.

What a legal team these guys have. Jumped right in to my work dilemma and got it sorted quickly.

My employers were trying to manage me out of the business. They tried changing my contract and because I refused to sign the new one, they put me on a performance improvement plan which was obviously not needed as my performance was exemplary. I was getting a little stressed so contact the workers union through my dashboard. Due to some unforseen circumstances my position at work has been compromised therefore i decided to join the workers Union. Their website is very comprehensive and i had no difficulty in signing up and creating a profile. I am now a full member with this company. My situation is still ongoing but the support that i have received from the workers union has been great. What a great system the workers union has. No waiting for oporators, no being passed around and no hasle in getting in touch. They seem to have got it right by using tech which can be used straight from my phone. I had an issue in work which was resolved quite quickly with the there help. Just signed up as I like the mission statement and ethos, having a bit of trouble with my password so cant access my account but hoping I can get it sorted, work in Education with many people who are not teachers hoping to share my experience with them as many people not in a union, heres to some helpful advice.

The workers union did me proud. After a very complex and convoluted exit strategy their legal team secured an enhanced package from my employer who initially wasn’t playing ball. Yes, I recommend.

I was working in A&E as a nurse on a very busy weekend. The two way door was faulty and had been reported to maintenance on several occasions. As I was helping move a patient with the porters my hand got trapped in the fold of the door and broke four fingers on my right hand. Yes I was in the right place to be dealt with quickly, but after many operation’s and many months off work I contacted my union who assisted me in getting all my loss of pay returned plus damages for all the pain and suffering. This union isn’t the biggest, but it certainly made me feel reassured knowing that someone has my best interests at heart. Thank you.

I don’t normally write reviews but this one is deserved. I’m an engineer of 22 years and have worked at the same place in that time. My company was making people redundant and offered me a redundancy package after consultation. I contacted the workers union after joining and was immediately called and was listened to intently. Because of the nature of my enquiry their legal team assisted me in getting a greatly enhanced exit package from my employer. It was well worth joining this union and I’m so glad I did.

Concise advice, friendly and knowledgeable

There are many unions out there that charge a lot of money to become a member. The workers union is affordable and very good at getting back to you quite quickly. Their online dashboard system is pretty cool and gets you right through to the correct department.

It took me a little while to realise that this union does not operate like any other. I know they don’t have a number and its all done on line through me dashboard which keeps the cost of me subs down. Personally I prefer communicating in this way. Very modern intuitiv approach to helping us workers. Thanks.

My name is Alice and I work in healthcare support. I love the fact that my job gives me the opportunity to look after people and make a difference to their lives. Let me tell you this is the best union by far in my opinion

I have worked at my company for 8 years and during this time I have worked my way up through the ranks to a call centre manager. Recently the company underwent an internal restructuring process, and I was told that my contract and salary was to be changed. I very helpful and friendly service, well inform and the information and help they give is very thorough. They have put my mind at ease.

As a scaffolder I rely on myself and others for my safety. This one day changed my life forever. I was working on a building and was wearing all the correct PPE. Suddenly and without notice debris including bricks and large chunks of stone started to crash down on me from a height of 30 feet. That was the last thing I remember. It was only later when I came around in hospital some three days late that my colleagues told me exactly what happened. The disposal chute (the large plastic tube you see on the side of buildings) had broken in half about a floor above where I was working. After surgery I was told that I may never work again sue to the severity of my injuries. I contacted my union who arranged for one of their lawyers to visit me at home. They gave me advice and represented me in a large damages case. I am now beginning to put my life back together thanks to the dedication from the workers union and their amazing team.

It is helpful to have means of discussing circumstances with an informed professional. The freedom of expression is a great channel in the time of need. Followed by meaningful direction the support is priceless. This union was recommended by a friend, I am being supported and rewarded by my membership.

I have contacted the union twice re an issue at work (covid related) and found it so very helpful to talk things through with someone to make sure that decisions I was making were the correct ones. Fast and helpful advice

I work as a cleaner in my local school. After me and the husband broke up, he tried to take my kids to live with his new girlfriend at the other side of the country. I didn’t know that my union could help me and was surprised to learn that they had family lawyers who could help. Kids now live with me and their gran. Workers union, a big thanks from us all.

I’m currently having problems regarding working hours at my workplace. I joined and contacted them and the following morning I was greeted with a lovely phone call discussing what I should do and more importantly, what I shouldn’t do.
