Drilling for oil and gas is another major source of electricity in the UK. The industry has been a key player in the British energy supply chain for many years. It is also a key player in the Paris Agreement on climate change and the region has come a long way in fighting climate change. The oil and gas industry is also a key player in the offshore gas industry. This is a new sector for the UK and it has received a great deal of attention in the recent years.
