Store assistant Emma Webster has marked a significant milestone by celebrating 20 years of service at Aldi UK. Starting her journey with the supermarket giant in 2004, Ms Webster has become a beloved figure in the West Midlands retail community.
Emma Webster began her career at Aldi as a deputy store manager after transitioning from her role as a community care worker for the elderly in the Northfield area. Over the years, she has brought her dedication and passion to several Aldi branches, including Netherton, Bridgnorth, and Wollaston. Her commitment to customer service and her ability to foster positive interactions with shoppers have made her an integral part of the Stourbridge team.
Aldi has praised Ms Webster for her unwavering dedication to her role, noting her habit of going above and beyond her official duties. Whether it’s greeting shoppers with a friendly smile or offering valuable advice, Ms Webster ensures every customer leaves the store with a positive experience.
Reflecting on her two decades with Aldi, Ms Webster shared, “Working at Aldi has been a privilege and meeting so many people is always a real highlight. Having worked in the Stourbridge area for many years, it’s been great to build relationships with our customers as I know it can make such a difference to their day.”

Marius Manolescu, the regional managing director at Aldi UK, highlighted the importance of employees like Ms Webster in the company’s success. “With around 45,000 colleagues in the UK, it’s fair to say that people are our biggest and most brilliant asset at Aldi. Emma is no exception, and her commitment to Aldi’s values is testament to why we are loved by so many. We look forward to celebrating even more of her achievements in the coming years.”
Mr. Manolescu also emphasized Aldi’s dedication to its workforce, stating, “As well as offering every colleague the job satisfaction and the recognition they deserve, we invest in a whole range of fantastic training courses year after year, making sure all our colleagues love being a part of Team Aldi.”
